Expensive SD Ram
April 29, 2008 9:47 pm Specially For YouI was thinking to upgrade my laptop memory two months ago. I checked the ram price online and also some local shop, I could not believe that the 1GB ram is selling at $100! I was thinking to get two slots 1GB SDram at the time. $200 is far over my budget. Yes I know SDram is out of stock but I though it would only cost about $100 for 2 x 1GB SDram. Oh my…Now I am headache, should I change the ram or get another new laptop?!

Yes laptop ram is little expensive.It depends on your budget whether you should change th ram or change the laptop.If the laptop is very old then I think its better to change.

I am having the same problems myself at the moment but living in uk is an extra killer. What you pay in dollars is what I would have to pay in pounds (which is then about doubled again if converted to dollars)
Maybe its time for a new laptop!

Buying a costly SD Ram is not the matter but the memory should a good one. Even though it is costly the product should be a good one.

I know, you’d think that because its outdated it would be cheaper, not more expensive…I have the same problem with my laptop….not worth upgrading ram for $200 when you can get a new laptop for $600.
