Below are some of the beautiful Cactus flowers I captured in the D-Paradise trip. The Cactus garden wasn’t at all, I could only spend about 10 – 15 minutes to walk through and look on those Cactus. Of course, some of the cactus are worth to see but too bad not much of it really worth to spend more time to look on under the strong sunning day.

I think below are the most worth to visit in our trip to D-Paradise Fruit Farm, because we can’t see any fruit due to currently not the Fruit season. According to their brochure, the fruit season should be around June – July.

Anyway, my daughter enjoy the animal trip. At least this was a new discovery of real animal for both of them. Let see what animals we meet in the farm.

A small Rabbit Farm with less than100 of rabbit, most of them look very sleep and not active at all. Maybe they been feed too much and lazy to run anymore.

Above two picture are Australia Coconut Crab which bought by D-Paradise. The coconut crab (Birgus latro) is the largest terrestrial arthropod in the world. I’m not sure how much will it cost, but should be very expensive in our country. I never see this kind of crab before.

Few deer are eating the glass, we can walk close to them and touch them. But too bad, I not dare to do so, I scare it will bite me.

Opps…above of course not an animal. There are human..haha…the D-paradise staff presenting the local traditional dance to visitors.

I had a visit to D-Paradise Malacca last month, now only free to upload the photo and share with you guys. Below photos were taken at the Lotus Pool at D-Paradise. It is only a small part of the huge farm. We are not able to walk around whole farm. We gotta take bus which provides in the farm (of course have to pay for it. RM10 per head)

The lotus is very beautiful, there have few different color. and each color of lotus plant in different pool. Not much I could say about this Lotus Pool, because the lotus wasn’t many in the pool.:lol: Anyway, it is beautiful if you only see from the picture. Right?

I had been to Langkawi Underwater World few times, I never regret to visit that place. It is worth to paid the RM38.00 to visit the place. It’s a huge experience to see this great underwater world in Langkawi. You’ll get to see a large collection of fish and other incredible animal at this place. I am kind of shocked when I read the news of 600 plus fish had been poisoned and dead in the Langkawi Underwater World.

Nothing I can do here but pray that they will reopen the aquarium which is partial closed as soon as possible. So that, all the visitor can experience the great underwater world again.

Redang Long Beach is the most merrier place in Redang Island. The expenses at Long Beach is much more cheaper if compare with Berjaya Redang. I strongly recommend young people who love group travel to get your group booking at Long Beach. Most of the resort are offer all inclusive package which is included 3 – 4 meals, rooms and 1 or 2 days snorkeling.

We have our dinner in summer place which is a Chinese Type restaurant and bar. Few singer is singing some nice song for customer. It will be a great place to spend your night.

I forgot what s this animal name. We see many in the Berjaya Redang Beach Resort. They no fear of human, will always jump from this tree to that tree. Also will jump into your room if you didn’t lock your windows when you are out. I wonder will they grab all the food in the room if we let it in.

My daughters afraid of it, because it keeps flying jumping here and there and almost jump to her once. She probably got frighten by this little flyer.

We arrived Redang Island airport at about 10.30am, they have a bus specially fetch us to Berjaya Hotel. But remember to check clearly which hotel you are booking with, because they have Berjaya Redang Beach Resort and berjaya Redang SPA resort which departure from airport with the same bus.

Views from our room, that is a 4 rooms chalet which should be a deluxe room. I’m not sure the conditions in the room but it looks better than our superior room. Ohh..human always hope for better one.

Here is our superior room with twins bed. Room is kind of small, however it have no problem to fit 2 adult and 1 child. I’m kind of disappointed with the room environment actually. not the type of 5 stars hotel room.

China is the biggest country in Asia. It is one of the countries owns many majestic scenery. You will not be regretting to visit one of the world’s oldest continuous civilizations. This is the most attractive destination to have sightseeing of majestic scenery. My mother went to Beijing (capital of the People’s Republic of China) 5 years ago, and she has no regret to walk The Great Wall of China which is 5000km long. Of course she wasn’t complete the walk, I doubt that is there anyone ever completed to walk the 5000KM long great wall.

I heard many people complaint about that many place in China is dirty, polluted, congested and razed of many old buildings. However, from what my mother told me, hotel that visitors stay will directly affect your view of China. She had no problem with the dirty or polluted complaint but love the scenery very much.

I think you have to select a good rating hotel from those cheap asia hotels to make sure you have a good and luxury rest after one day of sightseeing. There are many Beijing hotels which have 4 and 5 stars rating which will serves you like a valued guest. Their lodgings were always kept with a soldierly cleanliness and order. I am sure this kind of places will not let you feel dirty or congested.

Temple Of Heaven

I have visited Pangkor Island for more than 5 times. No other reason but this is the place where my sister staying. Although it might not the most beautiful beach in Malaysia, however, it nice to have a relaxing holiday too. Especially if you are staying in a five stars resort like Pangkor Laut Resort, one of the fabulous Spa retreats in the world. I have no chance to enjoy such resort, rate for a suite is equal to my whole family trip to Pangkor. So, stingy me sure won’t spend on that.

Do you wish to stay in the Malaysian’s style luxury villa which locate in the sea? It will be a great and romantic night if spend with your loved one there.

Another few photo that taken at Redang to share with you guys. Can you feel the refreshing sea air? Do you see the crystal clear seawater? I’m sure you will love to lying on the sand, enjoy the sun, beach and sea breeze. You can totally forget abut works, trouble and whatever that make you not happy in this kind of environment.

I just uploaded the picture I captured on Redang Island, below is Restaurant Aima which just located 3 mins walk time from Berjaya Redang Beach Resort. This restaurant is one of the Malay stall you can enjoy a cheaper meal if compare to Berjaya Redang restaurant. But I strongly suggest you to try their fried rice but not others.

We ordered below dish on the first day we arrived Redang, fried kangkung, dried egg, Tomyom seafood and spicy chicken. Somewhat disappointed because all dish was tasteless. However, the fried rice we have on the next day is unexpected good.

Back to the Berjaya Restaurant, there are 2 restaurants available in the resort. Palm restaurant which is the place we have our buffet breakfast. We have our BBQ buffet on the second night, charged at RM$58 per head. Nothing special, just some basic meal that not so yummy. They serve buffet daily and also some ala cart food.

Another restaurant is Beach Grill Restaurant, a very good scenery restaurant for couples. Of cause what you pay is what you get. It’s quite expensive to have your meal here. I checked the menu before, a set of T-Bone steak charges about RM$80 – RM$90 before tax.

Where to eat at Berjaya Redang Beach Resort. I finally experience it and must write it down for future use. But I doubt that will I go back to Berjaya or not. Frankly, I won’t , because the expenses is real expensive. It might suitable for who are earning US or Sterling only. There are few Malay stall located nearby the Berjaya Redang Beach resort. The nearest one is about 3 minutes walk from the resort which actually just beside the resort. The family meal was so so, not worth to eat. But the fried rice and nasi public ayam is yummy, at least I felt worth to pay for it. Cost about RM4 – RM5.00 per plate. Extremely cheap if you compare to Berjaya Restaurant.

Another 2 Malay stall is located 5 – 10 minutes walk from the resort. We didn’t walk that far due to having difficulty on “control” 4 “monkeys” (my daughters and sister children). But we tried roti canai from one of the mama stall. We bought it on the way we back from Island hoping by van. Taste very good, but I am not sure it is because of we are too hungry or what. Cost about RM0.80 – RM 1.00 each. (forgot the actual amount because pay for others snack as well.

I went to Redang Island together with my sister family two weeks ago. I’m going to update my Redang trip in this blog soon. We had a very relax vacation at Redang Island. It is a real paradise for who wishes to has a refresh and relax vacation.

My cousin who working at Guang Zhou is invites us to visit Hong Kong Disneyland recently. She promises to pay for our meal and entrance fees when we reach there! This sure will be a great offer for 5 adults and 3 children. The only problem for me is the cost for air flight and hotel expenses. Do you think getting personal loans is easy? Is it possible to get loans for traveling purpose? I actually do planning to take some cheap loans if possible. No doubt, the deal my cousin offers is worth to pay a visit to Hong Kong. I should make a plan for the trip now.

Let me share some information about Guangzhou just in case you don’t know where this place is. Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province in China. Known in the west as Canton. It is a major tourist destination that proximity to Hong Kong. There we many similarities to Hong Kong like the people appeared to have many similarities to the people of Hong Kong.

My cousin has invited us to visit her many times since she started her career at Guangzhou. Moreover, I’m so glad to bring my parents to the Guangzhou and Hong Kong trip last year. My cousin has tried to help us find the cheap hotels in Guangzhou, but those hotels rate that she given to me are more expensive that I found at AsiaHotels.com. It is a website provided many cheap asian hotels and I found lots of hotels in Guangzhou offer in the website.

I have my hotel booked at a three stars Furama Hotel that located at Changdi Road, in the older area of town. It is a bit run down, but I managed to venture out at night and I would consider it safe. You do get to see the real Guangzhou in this area. Besides visit my cousin, we have a very happy moment in the visit to Guangzhou and Hong Kong. She brought us visited to the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Pearl River, Shishi Holy Heart Cathedral, and many other attractive places.

I just know about the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2007 from CP yesterday. THis place quite nearby my home actually, but I never heard about this at all. Oh My..I am too outdated. Anyway, I will try to arrange a date with hubby there. It’s been long time from the my last view of firework which was at the year of 2003 New Year Count down.

This Fireworks Competition will be held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre from 18 August 2007 till 2 September 2007. This is a part of the celebration of 50th Merdeka birthday bash in the country.
